Panic Productions is a boutique studio offering quality recording and mixing services both locally & internationally via internet connected facilities and partners in Hong Kong and the USA.
Based in the lively inner city hub of Darlinghurst in Sydney Australia, the facility is setup and operated by international trumpet player Paul Panichi in conjunction with Aria Award winning producer/engineer & musician Russell Finch.

ABOUT US
The modern comfortable control room has excellent monitoring and centres around the Raven control surface and Crane Song Avocet for efficient high quality control of the Protools HD system and all the outboard.
The main tracking room, affectionately known as ‘The Panic Room’ is a mid sized multi purpose space. At 12.5’ x 15’ featuring 8’ ceilings, it’s a great sounding live room. The space has fully adjustable acoustic treatment allowing it to go from being ‘bright and lively’ to a ‘close and dry’ sound or anywhere in-between
We love it for vocals, drums, amps, acoustic instruments, brass and even small string sections.
PANIC PRODUCTIONS modern architectural design spans two open floors with plenty of windows providing natural light and atmosphere to help your creative flow.
We have a full inventory of microphones and mic pre-amps of varying character and colour, in addition to a great range of compression and EQ both outboard and software.
A/D and D?A conversion is via the latest Avid HD I/O.
There are 2 Mix Rooms with access to all the features of the studio’s equipment.
The 2 rooms offer alternative acoustic listening environments for crucial mix accuracy ensuring a mix that translates on any playback medium.

As a highly accomplished musician Russell is equally at home playing the piano or arranging and then conducting a score.
These broad skill sets are indeed a rare and enormously valuable asset in today’s music recording industry.
‘As a recording and mixing engineer these skills have been invaluable to me. They enable me to know just what the instruments, the vocals and the music should sound like, regardless of genre and style.
